controls PLC Engineer (Mid-Level)

We have an extensive team of experienced, hard-working industrial controls engineers.  We are looking for a mid-level controls PLC engineers that wants to grow with our company and continue to grow their craft by learning from our veteran engineers.   We're looking 3 to 7 years of experience, be willing to travel 75% to 100% of the time and have experience in the following: 

We'd like you to have the following experience if possible:

  • Experience writing software to interface with other robots (i.e. ABB, Kawasaki, etc.)
  • Experience programming other PLCs (i.e. Siemens, GEFanuc, Mitsubishi, etc.)
  • FANUC Karel programming for robot customizations
  • Ability to configure robot I/O on FANUC robots
  • Robot path teach (FANUC robots)
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Software Development (MS C#, C++, Visual Basic, WPF; Java)
  • Web Development (HTML, ASP, CSS, PHP, AJAX, etc.)

mechanical engineer (senior designer)

We are looking for a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in turn-key robotic systems.  In this role you will be designing small brackets and fabricated assemblies to complete robot structural support systems to support 1000kg masses suspended in the air.  With our focus on paint and dispensing applications you should be familiar with typical pneumatic and fluid circuit diagrams for robot painting and dispensing systems, and have experience "sizing" a system from the material supply pumps to the applicator tip.  With your turn-key robot system experience you can also mock up a robot system 3D design concept (robots, safety fencing, basic tooling, and mocking up anything necessary to show the design concept).  

We'd like you to have the following experience if possible:

  • Experience with robotic paint and/or dispense systems
    • Development of spray gun/applicator mounting brackets
    • Turn-key robot system installation drawing packages (floor, ceiling, wall mount, or rail mount robots)
    • Experience with these equipment manufacturers, Graco, SAMES, Nordson, SCA Schucker, FANUC, DURR
  • Proficiency with 3D modeling using SolidWorks and/or Autodesk Inventor
  • Experience working on new product developments
  • Extensive design of automation systems using FANUC robots
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000:2000 principles, ISO 102018 / RIA 1506 (Robot Safety Systems)
